Who Is Bob?

When I was 11 years old, I, along with many of my friends, became a member of the McHenry Viscounts Drum and Bugle Corps. After nine years, about a dozen of us decided to audition for "the big time", and we became members of the Chicago Royal Airs. After aging out, I joined the McHenry Men of Brass. Over 20 years later, I helped found a local parade corps: Group Therapy. Due to the loss of our trap-set player, Group Therapy folded and six of us joined the Racine Kilties. I competed with this great group of folks for six years. I then helped organize the Chicago Royal Airs Alumni Corps where I marched for three years. At the end of the 2004 season, I realized my dream when a member of the Hawthorne Caballeros offered to sponsor my membership in the Alumni Corps. I have been a member for the past four years: Kilties, Royal Airs and Caballeros...it does not get any better than that.
